Manti, the leader in Region 15, snapped the #2 Emery Spartans’ win streak as the teams met for a contest on Tuesday.
The two teams were tied in the first half, with Tanyon Allred netting the Spartan’s only goal of the game. The Spartans fought through the second half, but weren’t able to find the net again. The game ended in the Templar’s favor, 3-1.
Emery (8-4, 6-2 Region 15) will be at home on Thursday, taking on Richfield (4-8, 3-6 Region 15) at 7 p.m. This will be the Spartan’s last home game before region playoffs.
