Sally Mauro’s annual McTeacher’s Night fundraiser earned money during a brief two-hour period as students, faculty and staff worked with the local restaurant to serve customers on Wednesday evening.

“I think it went exceptional,” said principal Ryan Maughan. “I just want to thank McDonald’s for hosting it and everyone that came out and supported us.”

McDonald’s store owners John and Amber Hopkins donated 50% of all counter sales during the two-hour period to the school. Throughout the year, the Hopkins sponsor similar events to show their support for the local community.

The funds earned will be allotted to the school’s PTA. Members of the PTA will use the funds as they see fit, namely for Sally Mauro’s fall festival.
