Meet the Miss Carbon County and Outstanding Teen Contestants

The 2019 Miss Carbon County’s Outstanding Teen and 2019 Miss Carbon County Scholarship Pageants will be hosted Saturday, Oct. 13. The Outstanding Teen Pageant will begin at 4 p.m. and the Miss Carbon County Pageant at 7 p.m. at Mont Harmon Middle School. Tickets will be sold at the door. Each pageant’s admission is $8.
Come watch as the next Miss Carbon County and Miss Carbon County’s Outstanding Teen are crowned and start their year of service and representing our community. We have five young ladies competing for the title of Miss Carbon County 2019 and seven young ladies competing for the title of Miss Carbon County’s Outstanding Teen 2019. The new Miss Carbon County will represent the county at the Miss Utah Pageant in June 2019 and the new Outstanding Teen will represent the county at the Miss Utah’s Outstanding Teen Pageant in March of 2019, along with implementing their service platforms and many other duties.
 
Miss Carbon County’s Outstanding Teen 2019 Contestants
MaKinzey Cross, daughter of Shay and Brandi Young. She will be performing a Native American piece entitled “Warrior.” Her service platform is “H.O.P.E – Hold On, Pain Ends: Mental Health & Suicide Prevention.”
MeKayla Recla, daughter of Amy and Brian Ludlow. She will be performing a contemporary dance entitled “A Thousand Years.” Her service platform is “Saving Animals.”
Eminie Elliott, daughter of Dustin and Misty Taylor. She will be performing an aerial hoop dance entitled “Zombie.” Her service platform is “Keep The Beat, Move Those Feet.”
Jacee Atwood, daughter of Tyra Larsen and Travis Atwood. She will be performing a hip-hop dance entitled “Confident.” Her service platform is “Confidently You!”
Brinlee Evans, daughter of Chris and Darlene Evans. She will be performing a hip-hop dance entitled “Happier.” Her service platform is “No Visible Bruises.”
Summer Pendray, daughter of Jon and Farrah Pendray. She will be performing a piano solo entitled “Moonlight Sonata.” Her service platform is “Mirror, Mirror.”
Rosie Wichmann, daughter of Jason and Patricia Wichmann. She will be performing an acapella vocal solo entitled “Win the War.” Her service platform is “Living with Lupus.”
Miss Carbon County 2019 Contestants
Kaeley Taylor, daughter of Dustin and Misty Taylor. She will be performing a hip-hop dance entitled “Salute.” Her service platform is “Slow Down, Save Lives.”
Gracie Steele, daughter of Cletis and Nicole Steele. She will be performing a contemporary dance entitled “Stand By Me.” Her service platform is “KICK the Addiction.”
Haley Baggs, daughter of Monica and Shane Baggs. She will be performing a contemporary dance entitled “Heal.” Her service platform is “Seatbelt Safety.”
Paris Sanderson will be performing a vocal solo entitled “Hallelujah.” Her service platform is “Supporting Families.”
Zaharah Rossi, daughter of Ed and Sarah Rossi. She will be performing a snare drum solo entitled “Kinetic Potential.” Her service platform is “Band Together.”
