Miss Carbon County Brielle Bogdin visited Safari Express Preschool on Thursday to teach students the importance of gun safety.

According to Bogdin, if a child sees a gun they should stop, not touch, leave the area and tell an adult. With these four steps, each child can react safely if they spot a gun.

Students at the preschool enjoyed a discussion with Bodgin, watched a video regarding gun safety and went home with stickers, a coloring book and an informational packet to spread the importance of gun safety to family and friends.
