After competing in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Price Native Robbie Mitchell grabbed a first-place finish in the 2017 WORCS series.

“After the bad luck at Havasu, getting the win last night here in Vegas was really sweet,” Mitchell shared following the race.

Despite an unusual style of track, Mitchell grabbed a first-place lead early on and led throughout the race, holding off reigning champion Beau Baron for the win.

Mitchell’s next chance at victory will come on Apr. 21-23 as he returns to his native state and competes in round seven of the series at Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane.
