A motion to open a public hearing came before the group and the hearing opened regarding a Level 3 conditional use permit for the KFJ subdivision and zone change. There were no public comments so the hearing was closed and the changes were approved by commissioners with respect to the planning commission recommendations and requirements. These included permits from UDOT for egress and ingress and compliance with nuisance ordinances. Any new expansion will require additional permitting.

Previous signing required ratification of Bradon Bradford as Interim Health Officer for the SEU Board of Health, the Emery County Emergency Watershed Orangeville and the Cottonwood Creek Erosion Control Projects. These were all ratified by the commissioners.

The CIB list for 2018 was amended to include $64,000 for Huntington City to finish its cemetery wall. Following remarks from captain Kyle Ekker and attorney Mike Olsen, approval was given for Dr. Travis Engar to be retained as the Off-line EMS Medical Director.
