On Sept. 28 and 29, Notre Dame hosted its annual Oktoberfest celebration.

On Friday evening, there was an enchilada dinner and kids’ activities, while Saturday they provided a lasagna dinner and more child-friendly fun. There was food served throughout the day, starting at 11 a.m. both days and ended at 10 p.m. on Friday night and 11 p.m. on Saturday.

There was the annual silent auction, homemade food and games. This year, it was said to be one of the busiest Oktoberfests’ with hundreds of people coming both days.

Notre Dame will be making donations to local charities in the community and also will arrange some funding for scholarships for students who are currently attending Utah State University Eastern.

As well as donations, there were prizes to be won while playing the games there. In the bingo pot, there was as much as $200. Adding to that, there was a drawing for a grill, including a meat pack and condiments. But the grand prize was a $2,400 Disneyland vacation.
