The Duchesne Eagles snapped the Pinnacle Panthers’ modest two-game winning streak Tuesday night in a non-region matchup, winning the game 69-30.
Poor second and third quarters doomed the Panthers as they were outscored 38-8 after falling behind 21-10 after the first period of play.
Jon Giddings was the leading scorer for Pinnacle in the loss, notching nine points. Skylar Graves added six and Levi Rutherford chipped in five points.
Pinnacle (12-6, 5-2 Region 19) will enjoy some time off before its next game. The Panthers will host Telos on Feb. 19. The game will be broadcast on either ETV Channel 10 or 6.
