Panthers Nearing Season’s End in 1A Baseball, Look to Playoffs

The Pinnacle Panthers are winding down the 1A baseball season with just two games remaining on their schedule before postseason play begins later this month.

After defeating Green River and Diamond Ranch in back-to-back games at the beginning of September, the Panthers have dropped four in a row.

During its current losing streak, Pinnacle has been outscored 34-5.

Pinnacle currently sits in second to last place in the 1A South standings with a record of 3-9. The team’s overall record sits at 6-13.

The Panthers will host Panguitch on Friday at 3 p.m. at USU Eastern. The team will then finish up the regular season on the road against rival Green River on Wednesday.
