Peczuh Printing hosted its third annual client appreciation/charity golf tournament last week to raise funds for Carbon Caring for Kids. The day-long event started Friday morning, provided lunch to participants and went into the evening.

The tournament garnered $3,600 from hole sponsorships and $1,400 form other donations, raising a total of $5,000. One of the company’s paper vendors, Spicers, matched the amount. The total amount of money given to Carbon Caring for Kids was $10,000, thanks to the Peczuh and the generous sponsors, participants and volunteers.

Carbon Caring for Kids is a non-profit organization that helps provide meals for children in the area to eat while they are not in school. The organization is solely a volunteer effort that aims to ensure that no child in Carbon County goes hungry.
