Senior night was celebrated for the Pinnacle Panthers as they welcomed Wayne to their home field on Monday afternoon. Wayne began strong, taking a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Pinnacle made a comeback in the second inning with 4-0.
Wayne then hit back with 1-0, 4-3 and 1-0 in the third, fourth and fifth innings. The sixth inning found Pinnacle pushing back with 2-0, finally ending the game with Wayne in the lead at 4-1 in the seventh inning. While the game was a close call, the final score showed Wayne as victorious at 13-10.
Taking a break from the action, Panther seniors and their family were recognized. Seniors Panthers this season are Jaxson Carlisle, Zachariah Gibson, Riley Wilson and Taio Badback.
