Pinnacle Panthers Take Third at Region Track

While at the region track competition held at San Juan High School in Blanding, the Pinnacle Panthers took home a third-place finish as a whole with the boys’ team coming in fourth and the girls’ second, thirty points above third-placing Lake Powell School.

Misty Bingham, a senior, brought home a first-place finish for the Panthers in the long jump competition as well as Savana Dart who placed first in the 1600 meters.

Other to five finishers from the event include: Huntter Sherman, third in the 100 meters and second in the 200 meters as well as fourth in the 110 hurdles. Remington Motte, fourth in the 100 meters and second in the long jump. Nyet Rasmussen, fifth in the 100 and 200 meters as well as third in the 100 hurdles. Bingham, third in the 200 and 400 meters. Alexandrea Sherman, fourth in the 400 meters and 300 hurdles as well as third in the long jump. Brielle Mote, fourth in the 100 hurdles and discus. Claudia Santisteve, second in the 300 hurdles. Kaeley Taylor, second in the 800 meters. Yesenia Hullings, fifth in the 1600 meters. Tanner Hansen, fifth in the long jump. Valentina Motte, fourth in the shot put. Both the boys’ and girls’ 4×400 team, third. The girls’ sprint medley relay team also finished with a time of 5:23:30.00.
