At approximately 11 a.m. Friday morning, a call from a neighboring home came into the sheriff’s office reporting a house fire on Bell Avenue in Castle Dale.
The Emery County Sheriff’s Department was the first response team to the fire with the Castle Dale City Fire Department on scene moments later.
The fire started in a downstairs bedroom of the two-story home and quickly moved into the walls of the room. Quick response of emergency personnel prevented the fire from spreading into other rooms and the upstairs of the home.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The fire is currently under investigation.
