Rammed: South Sevier Crushes Carbon

The South Sevier Ram basketball team used a 13-point advantage in the fourth quarter to squash any hopes of a Carbon comeback Wednesday night in Price.

South Sevier jumped out to an 18-6 lead after the first quarter, but Carbon battled back and trailed 38-32 going into the fourth quarter. The Rams took over in the fourth quarter and finished the Dinos 62-43.

Kaden King drilled six three-point shots en route to 25 points for South Sevier. Race Parsons added 18 points for the Rams.

Tanner Gagnon scored 14 points and Derek Young added 13 points for Carbon.

Carbon fell to 4-2 on the season.

The Dinos next host Emery on Friday at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10.
