At the beginning of each quarter, teachers at Castle Dale Elementary set reading goals in and out of the classroom for the students. Students who reached these goals are then entered into a drawing and also treated to a party.
At the end of second quarter, 135 of the 200 students enrolled had reached their goal. Following an assembly where the drawing prizes were awarded, the students then participated in a sledding party.
Castle Dale Elementary was grateful for sponsors Maverick, Food Ranch, R Pizza Place, Stewarts and Fatty’s for helping to make this such a great time for the students.
