Elmo Residents enjoyed a “showdeo” on Thursday to start of the annual Horse and Buggy Days celebration. The crowd was entertained while they watched children of Elmo participate in stick horse races, a greased pig chase, a money goat chase, mutton busting and more exciting events.
On Friday, residents enjoyed the bike ride and the Elmo glow in the dark 5K run/walk. Saturday’s celebration started with the parade and moved to the park for a horseshoe tournament and bingo. Children of all ages enjoyed water games and a fireman’s foam pit.
The celebration ended with a community dinner and a movie in the park.
