Several vendors gathered and displayed their best rocks at Saturday’s rock, fossil and mineral show. The show has had many requests for entry by outside vendors.

“I like to keep the show small,” said show promoter Patrick Braun. “It keeps the vendors happy.”

To get into the show can be difficult. The show normally features vendors from Nevada, Colorado and Utah.

The show started at the College of Eastern Utah. It has since been hosted one year at the Elks Lodge and delighted this year at the Carbon County Events Center. Braun explained that it has been a good show at the events center.

“All the staff at the center have been good to us,” he said.

A silent auction supports the show. There was also a free raffle for gift cards and a free demonstration by Mark Williams on wire wrapping.
