To our customers in Ferron, Utah: There seems to be misinformation circulating about electrical service in your area. We want to be sure you have the correct info.
A portable substation is temporarily serving you until a new transformer can be installed sometime in the future. The new transformer has not arrived. When it does, Rocky Mountain Power workers will install it in the substation and schedule a planned interruption to safely transfer service to the new equipment. We will contact customers directly to provide advance notice of the scheduled time and expected duration of the planned outage.
We also will work closely with the community leaders to keep them informed of the upcoming work that will be done. We appreciate your continued patience.
