Before hitting the October break for rodeo, several team members placed at Cedar last weekend.
Carbon’s Kagen Rhodes placed first in both light rifle and trap shoot. On Friday at the Enterprise rodeo in team roping, five Emery team members captured three of the top ten places. Korby and Byron Christiansen took third, Dax Hall and partner Trey Roundy finished eighth, and Will and Wyatt Magnuson earned 10th. Abbie McElprang placed seventh in breakaway roping.
On Saturday, with the Cedar Club hosting, Jessica McElprang earned sixth in breakaway. Jessica Fox and partner Hailey Humphrey finished third in team roping.
Now, the teams will practice hard to be ready for the Dixie-6 in November at the Hurricane arena.
