On Tuesday at USU Eastern, the cosmetology department hosted on a bake sale for breast cancer awareness month. Nearly 20 of the girls in cosmetology department made the goodies themselves. Last year, they were able to raise almost $800 from their bake sale. The amount for this year has not yet been tallied.
The money raised will go to United Way and and allocated to Salons for Survival, a program supporting women in the county who have breast cancer.
