The Emery High volleyball team dropped its final home match of the season losing three games to one against Richfield.
Riding the emotion of honoring the team’s five seniors, the Lady Spartans won the first game 25-23. The emotion couldn’t carry the team as Richfield stormed back to take the final three games 25-20, 25-13 and 22-15.
A recording of the game will be broadcast on ETV Channel 10.
Emery visits South Sevier Wednesday to wrap up the regular season. The match has huge playoff implications, as the winner will move on to the State Tournament.
