A southbound vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday on Carbon Ave. and 100 south near the railroad tracks.

Price City Police Officer Jon Bowen said the southbound vehicle’s driver was cited for failure to stop.

“With cold weather comes a hazard in driving,” Bowen said. “People need to slow down and pay attention and make sure they watch what they’re doing to avoid any serious accidents.”

Bowen classified the accident as minor and said no ambulance was needed.

The northbound vehicle’s front end was smashed during the incident.

The drivers’ names were not released.
