Abajo Mountains

Closed – Many waters on the mountains cannot be reached by vehicle. (01-10-18)

Academy Mill Reservoir

Closed – Academy Mill Reservoir and other waters above Joes Valley are likely inaccessible due to recent snow. (01-10-18)

Boulger Reservoir

Fair – The reservoir now has stable ice. To catch trout here, try using tube jigs tipped with meal worms. (01-10-18)

Carbon County Community Fishing Pond

Closed – The pond is closed for the winter. (01-10-18)

Cleveland Reservoir

Fair – The reservoir now has stable ice. To catch trout here, try using tube jigs tipped with meal worms. (01-10-18)

Duck Fork Reservoir

Closed – Access to Duck Fork Reservoir and other waters on the South Manti might be limited due to snow, ice and mud. (01-10-18)

Electric Lake

Good – Anglers are catching tiger trout through the ice near the boat ramp. Fishing has been best before noon using tube jigs. Use caution as there may still be open water in some parts of the lake. (01-10-18)

Fairview Lakes

Closed – Recent snow has likely made the lakes inaccessible to vehicles. (01-10-18)

Ferron Reservoir

Closed – Ferron Reservoir and other waters on the South Manti are likely inaccessible to vehicles. (01-10-18)

Gigliotti Pond

Fair – The pond froze several weeks ago, but ice thickness may vary due to highly variable temperatures in Carbon County. Use caution when fishing here. Try using tube jigs tipped with either meal worms or night crawlers. (01-10-18)

Gooseberry Reservoir

Closed – Gooseberry Reservoir might be inaccessible due to recent snowfall. (01-10-18)

Grassy Lake

Closed – Grassy Lake and other waters on the South Manti are Closed to highway vehicles due to ice on the road. (01-10-18)

Huntington North Reservoir

Unstable ice – Huntington North Reservoir still has some areas of open water. Use caution when ice fishing here. (01-10-18)

Huntington Reservoir

Good – Anglers have had success catching tiger trout through the ice. Try using a white tube jig tipped with a meal worm. (01-10-18)

Joes Valley Reservoir

Unstable ice – Ice has started forming on the reservoir, but the ice is unstable, and there are still areas of open water. (01-10-18)

Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond

Closed – Access to the pond is closed until March 1. (01-10-18)

La Sal Mountains

Closed – Many waters on the La Sal Mountains are either inaccessible to highway vehicles or covered with unstable ice. (01-10-18)

Lower Fish Creek

Good – Access to the creek may be limited as snow accumulates, but it may be accessible below Scofield dam if you have a four-wheel drive vehicle. Try using Panther Martin spinners or green soft hackle flies to catch trout and chubs here. (01-10-18)

Miller Flat Reservoir

Fair – The reservoir might be accessible in a four-wheel drive vehicle. To catch trout here, try using tube jigs tipped with meal worms. (01-10-18)

Millsite Reservoir & State Park

Slow – Anglers have been fishing through the ice off of the island at the bottom of the boat ramp. Fishing has been slow to fair. (01-10-18)

Petes Hole

Closed – Petes Hole and other waters above Joes Valley may be inaccessible due to recent snowfall. (01-10-18)

Potters Ponds

Closed – The ponds may be inaccessible to vehicles due to recent snowfall. (01-10-18)

Price River

Slow – Much of the river through Price Canyon is covered in ice, making fishing impossible in many areas. (01-10-18)

Right Fork of Huntington Creek

Fair – Many parts of the creek are covered with ice. Depending on where you go, fishing might be difficult. (01-10-18)

Scofield Reservoir

Good – Most of the ice fishing is happening near the dam cove, where the ice is almost 10 inches thick. Anglers have caught rainbow and cutthroat trout using white jigs tipped with chub meat. Paddle bugs and green glow ice flies, tipped with a wax worm, have also worked well. Try fishing close to the bottom in 16 to 22 feet of water. (01-10-18)

Wrigley Springs Reservoir

Fair – The reservoir was accessible by four-wheel drive on Jan. 8. Access may change, however, due to recent snowfall. The ice on the south end of the reservoir was stable. (01-10-18)
