Ferron City was bustling with people and animals alike from July 5 to July 8 during the Southeastern Utah Jr. Livestock Show.

This show draws people from throughout Utah and surrounding states. On Saturday morning, the auctioning of the best animals began. Hogs, steer, goats and lambs were all brought out one by one, giving the audience a chance to make their bid.

Once the animal was auctioned, it was then up to the buyer to decide whether to bring the livestock home or send it to slaughter.

The Grand Champion in the steer category was Brooke Sorensen from Spanish Fork. The steer Reserve Champion was Stran Sorensen, also from Spanish Fork. For the goats, the Grand Champion was Jaston Willoughby of Heber and the Reserve Champion was Linnsie Gage of Hinckley.
