Spartans Travel to Hideout Golf Course

The recent Emery High boys’ golf match, played at Hideout Golf Course, proved to be tricky for the Spartans. The match, which took place on Thursday, saw the team finish second to last with a final score of 363, just above South Sevier with a score of 383.

Oakley Toomer played well, earning the low score of the day at 75. According to coach Kevin Reynolds, Toomer was three over and played most of his round at or under par. Following Toomer was Taylor Lindsey at 92 and Shaidyn Killpack at 96. The remainder of the team’s individual scoring was Devan Guymon, 100, Tayven Guymon, 104, Logan Healey, 108, Kavery Killpack, 116 and Wade Huggard, 122.

Grand finished the game triumphant with a score of 141 with Richfield following just behind at 142. The Spartans will next travel to Skyline on Wednesday. Tee time is slated for 11 a.m.
