Math projects created by USU Eastern students will grace the campus on Tuesday and Wednesday as part of “Math and the Real World.”

Students in MATH 0950, 0990 and 1050 classes completed projects after exploring connections between math and the real world, math and careers, and math and people, respectively. Their results were on display as a visual/physical representations of the connection as well as written in essays.

This project could take the form of a physical object, a poster board or even a YouTube video where the math related to it would be seen.

Students and members of the community are welcome to view the projects on campus during the two-day display. Projects will be on display in the West Instructional Building student lounge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
