The Carbon High School Lady Dinos gave their all in a match that took place in Delta on Wednesday and came out triumphant, shooting a team total of 408. This victory places the Lady Dinos in second place in the region, three strokes out of the first.
Providence Hall ended the match in second place with 412 while Delta landed in third place with 435. Lady Dino Jordan Bianco led the team with a score of 94. Aubrey Fausett scored 100 while Sam King and Jessica Hansen ended with scores of 104 and 110, respectively.
“I am very proud of my girls,” said coach Kenji Otani. “We were 30 shots out of first and the thought of winning region was slipping away, but in tough windy conditions the girls came through and we are back in the hunt. My hat is off to all of them.”
