The Prehistoric Museum, USU Eastern presented “The Other Side of Utah” community art exhibition during an open house on Saturday. The exhibition is housed in the Prehistoric Museum’s Special Exhibits Gallery on the second floor of the museum.

“This year’s exhibition represents a wide array of mediums,” museum staff shared. “There are several large paintings and photographs as well as prints and sculptures. Many of the artists celebrate the special features of this state; from its wildlife to its classic car beauties, star filled night skies and iconic mountainscapes.”

Members of the community are encouraged to visit the museum and see artwork from both established Utah artists and emerging local talent. Sale of artwork helps support the Special Exhibits Gallery each year.

“The Other Side of Utah” will be open to the public through March 10. The museum is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission rates apply.
