After 10 years in business, The Steel Store in Wellington hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate new management, new offerings and new beginnings on Tuesday. The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, Carbon County royalty and members of the community were in attendance to celebrate the milestone.

The Steel Store offers metal buildings, metal roofing, pipes, valves, and, of course, steel, for its customers. The business also operates in construction, offering a variety of services from within its fabrication shop. James Martinez has recently taken the reigns at The Steel Store as he manages the daily operations and oversees various projects.

“Our motto here at The Steel Store is ‘We can do it,’ no matter how big or small the project is,” the business shared. “Have an idea? Bring it to us and we can make it happen.”

While the majority of The Steel Store’s customers reside in the Carbon/Emery area, the business is willing to provide products and services to those outside of the area as well.

“We offer quality service in a timely and productive manner while always getting you the best prices by going through several distributers,” The Steel Store shared. “No matter how big the project or how small the request, we will always strive to provide the best service to our customers and businesses.”

Located at 810 South 5th West in Wellington, customers can visit The Steel Shop Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information can also be found by calling (435) 63-STEEL.
