Six contestants vied for the title of Junior Miss Peach Days and five for Senior Miss Peach Days on Saturday evening.

Memarie Melo, Courtney Behling, Brylei Allred, Faryn Hulse, Tylee Jensen and Lydia Price were contestants in the junior competition. The senior competition featured Kendra Shore, Kelsey Hulse, Breann Chamberlain, Dallas Harris and Tia Hulse.

The girls were judged in three categories: talent, evening gown and on-stage question. They had previously been interviewed by the judges as well. The on-stage questions, which were taken from their interviews, were given to each contestant before their appearance on stage, giving each girl time to prepare an answer.

To conclude the evening, Faryn Hulse was crowned Junior Miss Peach Days with attendants Lydia Price and Memarie Melo.

Tia Hulse will wear the crown of Miss Peach Days for 2018 with Kelsey Hulse and Breann Chamberlain as attendants. The three Hulse girls are sisters.

Faryn Hulse, Junior Miss Peach Days, sang for her talent while Melo and Price both danced. Price also added a jump rope routine to her competitive dance. Newly-crowned Miss Peach Days Tia Hulse played the piano during the talent portion of the evening. Kelsy Hulse played a flute solo and Breann Chamberlain sang a solo.

The evening was hosted by Brett Behling with the assistance of last year’s royalty, including Kallee Cook, Junior Princess, and Brynne Urie, Miss Peach Days 2017. Both girls performed their talent during the evening’s pageant. The chair of the pageant was Angelina Behling.
