The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce welcomed one of the area’s newest businesses, Castle Country Transportation, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday afternoon.
Castle Country Transportation offers taxi, shuttle and delivery services throughout Carbon and Emery counties as well as northern parts of the state. The new businesses is the brain child of Steven Webb, a local DJ who saw the need for taxi services for local residents after a night out on the town. The idea has grown from there with Castle Country Transportation now offering complete taxi services as well as shuttle and delivery services.
“Our rates are fair and calculated per mile based on current fuel and maintenance costs,” the business’ owners shared. “Rest assured that while we may be giving you a ride, we aren’t taking you for one.”
Jamie Inscore heads the operations at Castle Country Transportation, organizing a handful of drivers as well as a full fleet of vehicles. Castle Country Transportation has risen to meet various demands in the area, including shuttle services to local mines as well as the Salt Lake City International Airport.
The business is locally owned and operated with years of transportation services riding at the helm of the operation. All drivers have a clean record and experience in the field, according to Castle Country Transportation.
