Two Local Football Players Receive Opportunity to be Part of U.S. National Team

Two outstanding Carbon High School football player’s traveled to Denver, Colo., where they participated in the National Team Regional for football.

Christopher Sunter and Anthony Madrigal were personally chosen by the U.S. National Team program based upon their talent, leadership and character. The duo traveled in hopes of advancing to an additional tryout and to receive the opportunity of making the U.S. National Team.

The National Team Regional allows players to compete against the best athletes and train with current NCAA coaches as well as former NFL players and coaches, all while trying out for the U.S. National Team.

The two athletes will not only represent Carbon High School but Price City and Utah as well in Dallas, Texas this July. This is a huge accomplishment in both of the young football player’s career.
