NORTH SPRINGS ARCHERY CLUB –

The North Spring Archery Club continues its indoor shoots this Friday, from 4-8 p.m. at the Carbon County Events Center. 

There will be a 3D shoot on March 14 at 10 a.m. at the North Springs Shooting Range. All skill levels are welcome.  The fees are $7 for adults, $5 for kids 12-17 and kids 11 and under are just $3. For more information, contact Adam Bedont at (435) 650-0721. 

CARBON REC DODGEBALL LEAGUE –

The registration deadline for the Carbon Rec dodgeball league is March 6. Teams can be male, female or mixed. The league will play on Thursday evenings and the fee is $120 per team.

CARBON REC 3 ON 3 MEN’S VOLLEYBALL –

The deadline for the men’s three on three volleyball league at Carbon Rec is March 5.  The fee is $120 per team.  Play will be on Tuesdays evenings at Mont Harmon.

CARBON REC SOCCER –

Youth soccer at Carbon Rec is open to all kids that are age 4 and up.  The fee is $32 with a jersey or $20 without. Games will be on Tuesday and Thursday at the fairgrounds ball fields.

CARBON REC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL –

Youth instructional volleyball for both boys and girls ages 8 and up will be beginning soon at Carbon County Recreation. The fee is $28 and includes a T-shirt. Instruction will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Mont Harmon. Instruction is provided by by Carbon Rec staff and Carbon High volleyball players and coaches.

FREE UMPIRE CLINIC –

A free umpire clinic will take place Wednesday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Carbon Rec. This clinic is for anyone who is interested in working as an umpire in the Carbon Rec, Cal Ripken or Babe Ruth leagues.  This clinic is free but interest parties must register at Carbon Rec by March 10. There must be at least six people registered in order to host the class.

FREE SCOREKEEPING CLINIC –

A free scorekeeping clinic will take place Thursday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Carbon Rec. This clinic is for anyone who wants to learn how to keep score for baseball or softball. The clinic is free but interested parties need to register at Carbon Rec by March 11. There must be at least six people registered in order to host the class.

ST. PATRICKS DAY GLOW DANCE FOR TEENS – MARCH 13

There will be a St. Patrick’s Day Glow in the Dark Dance for teens on March 13 from 7-10 p.m. at the Fierce Adrenaline Athletic building. This dance is for all teens between the ages of 13 and 17. The fee is $5 per child. This dance will be supervised by Carbon Rec employees. 

CONCEALED WEAPONS CLASS –

The North Springs Shooting Range will host a concealed weapons class on March 14 at 10 a.m. The fee is $55 per person, which includes everything participants need, fingerprints, photographs, class time and a range pass for the day.
