A late run almost provided the USU Eastern Lady Eagles with win against College of Southern Idaho on Thursday night, but they fell short and lost the contest, 95-88.

A strong performance at the line put Eastern at 21 of 26 attempts and helped keep them in the game.

Bryanna Adams scored 17 points for Eastern. Larissa Quintana put up 11 and Isabela Costa grabbed 11 rebounds.

“We almost won,” said Coach Dave Paur. “That seems to be the story of my life.”
