Utah Youth Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to perform in Helper in April, 2018. The orchestra is comprised of approximately 70 students from high schools throughout Utah.
The Utah Youth Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1957. Led by Music Director and Conductor Barbara Scowcroft, UYSO performs unedited classical literature in some of Utah’s finest concert venues. Sectional coachings are conducted by some of our area’s finest musicians, including musicians from the Utah Symphony, Ballet West, U of U School of Music, UVU Department of Music and other top-tier music instructors.
